OLD BOYS WIN BACK SINGA CUP.

A midday start saw a number of young and old boys and a couple of fathers play a game of touch.
This was followed by a sausage break then three quarters of tackle rugby.

 

The 1st XV scored an early try from the first kick off. Somehow though, the Old Boys prevailed through age and knowledge as opposed to youth & speed.
The final score 36 to 24.

 

All this through Melbourne’s renowned 4 seasons

This tradition started back in 1983 and is played at the end of every season. The game format this year will start with a game of touch followed by a modified rules contact game, with a BBQ and refreshments on hand. If you’re feeling too old to pull on the boots, come along to catch up with a few mates and watch some “not so serious” rugby.
